Wheelchair Project
The wheelchair project began as means of helping persons living with disabilities in and around the areas we operate, with wheelchairs. Some of them are not coping without wheelchairs and have difficulty getting around, while others have old worn out wheelchairs thus leaving them in worse off positions due to their disabilities.
Over the 3 years’ period awareness campaigns were conducted in different communities and radio stations to market the project and request donations. Wheelchair request letters were distributed to business communities in Mbombela, Nkomazi, Matsulu, Acornhoek, Kwaggafontein and Mpuluzi
